Work: Them

brooch, necklace - branches, stainless steel, rope, glue, iron, spray
Secrets
You carry them around for years,
Kept inside your head,
Spreading,
Warming from your blood,
Tighten as Chains around your heart,
Lurking for your conscience,
As a rope around your neck.
They are inside you,
Inside your soul,
Breaking your spirit,
Your body,
Consuming every pure portion,
Annihilating your shadow,
Your form.
And you, like a tree without leaves,
As a broken branch,
Staying Silent,
Quiet,
Not to expose your lost soul,
Until all that is left is an empty shell,
And your soul is dark,
