Work: Chops of Luck

Todays industrial farming has turned into one big (pig) atrocity. From being a rare treat, a highly valued luxury, meat has become a cheap product available for excessive mass consumption. Its consequences lead to environmental disasters and reduce the animals to mere objects with unnaturally painful lives stained with cruelty and greed.
The pig has been a symbol of good luck in many cultures around the globe. Which path are we on if we treat our own lucky symbols with such disrespect?
I brutally chopped up a plastic pig into pendants and hanged them on pieces of butchers’ twine. By pure chance, I ended up with 13 pieces and named them „Chops of Luck”.
