The working people living at the bottom of society are a mirror of real life for society. They reflect the social phenomena which epitomize the times.
As for me, I am also an individual living within society, and I peer and reflect at myself during the process of creation.

Successive regulations, better and better “Polish deal” imposed by those in power on various aspects of women’s lives—all this prompts the observation that the traditional Polish saying “children and fish have no voice” should be broadened.

A root starts to appear.
You grow and become a little plant.
Some animal might step on you.
It might eat you.
Or some human will.
You have become food.

Imagine, you are a little plant.

Some lightning might strike you.
Some human can cut you down.
You faill aside.
Cut in slices and off.
Off to the papermill.
You live on in a book.

Imagine, you are a tree.
You are some 100 years old.
They call you Padauk.
Your skin is brownish.
Inside you are red.
Red as fire.
Hard as stone.
You have been cut.
Sliced and used.
Change into a chair, a bed.

Imagine, you are a tree.
You have lived for ages.
One day, you die.
Just like that.
You fall and lie on the ground.
Covered by soil and rocks for ages.
Your composition changes.
You might become petrol.
You might become a diamond.
You become a jewel.
They are all related.

In all cultures, in all religions, there was a cult of fertility and consequently
there were symbols or amulets supposed to ensure fertility. One of such
amulets was the lunula, talisman believed to give happiness in marriage
and the ability to bear children.
The deeply rooted image of the woman-mother has an enormous impact on
the lives of billions of women nowadays. In many countries, motherhood
is an obligation and having no offspring leads to exclusion. Authorities,
religions and communities authoritatively try to take over the control over
the female body. Under the pressure exerted by institutions, family and
friends, women often give in and follow the path mapped out for them. In
this way the woman is deprived of her freedom and the right to make her
own choice.
The stigmatisation of childless women is a global phenomenon, but one
that goes unnoticed or ignored.

Amber and a hard disk are two extreme information carriers.
In inclusions, amber conveys information from 40 million
years ago, unchanging and important information about
plants and small animals, whereas a hard disk can save
everything, important messages and trivial ones, even those
that you can read in amber.

Jewellery as medicine for the emotions we want to suppress!
We so often seek to get “anaesthetised”, but is this
way of numbing ourselves really what we need most? Are
modern times so overwhelming?
According to the 2020 OECD Report, alcoholism and drug
addiction are on the list of the biggest social problems in
Poland.
It is a problem that affects most of us – perhaps not directly,
but all of us can name people in our environment who
are struggling with this problem. Now, with pandemic,
this phenomenon becomes even more pronounced.
I know that I always want to have this medicine with me
to help me in any situation.

The world of nature, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, is a place where we can catch our breath, go deep into ourselves, relax and lie down on soft moss. The
moss gently but firmly invades urban space, proving that it can survive under any conditions.

A butterfly a symbol of delicacy, lightness and fragility, but for many people it is also a symbol of something else - anorexia (#pro ana). The characteristic that links these symbols is fragility, low resistance to attack, and ease with which it can be destroyed.

Anorexia is a serious problem, it cannot be associated with the beautiful though short life of a butterfly, it is a debilitating disease that cannot be treated lightly.

Walking in the forest amidst the rhythm of towering trees, I suddenly stop captivated by the beauty of ovals lying on the ground – these are trunks of felled trees; I admire the range of their colours, the patterns of grain lines and textures as if they were the works of old masters of painting and graphics.

To be able to capture this reality with your artwork, to grasp it in a more material form than in a photo – this is what showing the “life after life” of trees in the project In My Opinion is about.

Symbolika zodiakalnego skorpiona prezentuje zasadę braku półcieni, coś może być białe albo czarne, dobre albo złe, nie ma czegokolwiek co jest np. trochę dobre albo trochę złe. Istnieje pogląd, że może być najlepszym przyjacielem lub najgorszym wrogiem. Symbolizuje np.: zemstę, ale również opiekuńczość. Jest najbardziej tajemniczym ze znaków zodiaku, wyróżnia się cztery jego rodzaje: orzeł, feniks, jaszczurka i pająk.

Prezentowany skorpion w naszyjniku jest tym opiekuńczym, który przytula się i obejmuje swojego „właściciela”. Życzę wszystkim styczność z takim właśnie jego rodzajem.

There is a deep mystery in shadows. In the shadows we cannot see, things appear uncertainly in our eyes and then dissolve again.

Light is information and clarity, while shadows are nothingness and fathomlessness.

We often try to illuminate everything in our world as brightly as it is possible, to erase all lack of information or clarity. By doing so, we extinguish the magic of shadows.

Let us find delight in this incredible magic of shadows, their secret depth and poetic fluctuations.
