As we expected, after several months of the project’s functioning, some topics are more popular with the artists than other. Sometimes they are in the form of direct dedications, sometimes they are an obvious reference to an earlier work. Sometimes we, the co-ordinators, subjectively interpreting submitted pieces, find for them a good neighbour and place them in display cases next to each other. We are not always sure whether we read the intention of the artists correctly. Nor do we know if the viewers agree with our interpretation.
So let us create together something like the language of the goldsmithery of the 21st century. Naturally, this is only the first step. Sometimes the message of the works is obvious, sometimes not, and then it is explained by the title, the accompanying text and image. From an idea communicated visually – to an intellectual suggestion. That is why we ask the artists and all people who read entries in the tab “Archives” for comments. We hope that by joining forces, in the months to come, we will work out the final version of the catalogue, which will be published at the end of the project. The texts appearing in this section will be modified over time, which will reflect our search for the best interpretation. Without your help, it will not work, because we do not want the co-ordinator’s opinion to dominate the project. This is going to be OUR JOINT OPINION! And an awesome task ...
